Before turning to surgery (which is not a guaranteed fix) I would try some vision therapy again (like the patching). You may have worn a patch for a long time as a younger child but it has now been shown that just two hours of patching is just as effective as a much longer length of time. Before you try to self treat, though (you don't want to risk causing your good eye to become not as good), ask your parents and optometrist to help you find someone who specializes in vision therapy.
