I recently got new glasses for an astigmatism but they are blurry.?

I am slightly nearsighted with a slight astigmatism in both eyes. I went to the optometrist because I was having headaches and my vision would progressively get more blurry throughout the day and was worst at night. Well I ended up needing glasses "as needed". The doc told me to wear them all the time for the first week for my eyes to adjust. Well i can see things up close fine but everything far away is blurry. Is this normal with an astigmatism? The Doc said that i could even get motion sickness from it? I was just wondering why after 4 days it has not improved.

I hope by this point you sent your glasses back. What kind of lens did it have in it??
