Has anyone had this procedure done? What was the outcome? Anything I should know before I get it done?

Yep i had it done.. I had horrible eye sight(i think at last count it was around 20/525 20/550) and have been corrected to 20/40.

The best thing to do is have a consultation with the doctor to see how they do their proceedures and which one they reccomend. Many offices have several procedures to choose from and they all have different outcomes based on the specific need.

I had Lasek suregery, which is a combo of PRK and Lasik

I could see right after the surgery, had pain for about 3 days, then gradually it got better over time. The only drawback is they sometimes get dry easily and are more sensitive to being hit than becfore i had the surgery.(but i have a youngster so i get poked in the eye more than most)
