Do you mean an astigmatism of the eye, or a word play on stigmata?

Edit: I have astigmatism of the eye, but only slightly. It only affects me if i am reading for hours at a time, and wear glasses for reading. The prescription is weak. My eyesight is perfect apart from that. It isn't a big deal for me, and i rarely think about it.

I think there are bigger problems than a slightly irregular shaped cornea.
