Default Has anyone heard of retinitis pigmentosa?

I have it. Has anyone heard of any treatments/cures for this disease?

Yes, I have heard of it - my mother has a form of it.As far as I'm aware, there are no treatments or cures - but it's been years since I talked with her about it, I think it was the mid 90's when she was diagnosed (and told she was very lucky to still have ANY sight left in her one eye at her age, as most people were blinded by their early 20s & she was in her early 50s)I'd ask your doctor about treatments/cures.
