After crying an excessive amout over the last few days, I have pink and red dots under my eyes. They look the same as when someone gets hit really hard, those pink little pin prick dots. Is there a connection between the crying & the dots? Could it be something else? What can I do about it?

maybe from rubbing the tears/your eyes, if not try the skin doctor! =) hope this help, and i hope you can stop crying excessive amounts!

there is nothing you can do about this...I have the same problem and it runs in my family.

It can be caused from rubbing them, but is usually from increased blood flow to accomodate the production of tears.

I do the same thing. I think it's from rubbing the tears away. I'm not really sure why. But I know it is common.
