is it alright to use opcon-a eye drops with gentamicin eye drops for pink eye? of...

...course at different sittings i was prescribed with gentamicin but that is only for antibiotic use....is it okay to use opcon-a red reliever/itching along with the antibiotic in the eyes within the same day?
