There is an OTC medication made by Similisan that works very well. However all the others are right. I don't think you should go to school with this unless you are cleared by a doc first. Hope you're well soon.

you have to go to the doctors and he'll give u drops it should be gone by the time school starts but only w/ the drops from the doctor

Please do not use any drops/medicine of any kind that u were advised to use by a friend or any yahoo user even if he/she was a doctor. you HAVE to get it checked up and only the doctor who checks it can advise with the best medication. I suffered alot coz i used drops that everyone recommended only to realize after HAVING to go to the doctor (coz it got so much worse) that the kind of infection i had (that also caused pinky eyes) increased coz of the medication i used! You really need to c a doctor, do not take this lightly!!

The onle thing that cures it are the special drops from the coctor. they're like antibiotic eye drops. And you better do it before school starts, pink eye is HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS. And don't rub it, you can pass the infection just by touching it and then touching your finger to something else.
