ever since friday my left eye hasnt stopped running. Its just been running water and it looks like im crying. It hasnt been itching or turning red though. This morning i woke up and my left eye was all crusty (this was the first time the crust appeared since friday). i have noticed that at a random part of my day, the tearing will stop for about 5-10 minutes. im not exactly sure what it is. My mom said that its just an eye cold or an infection at most, however, looking online, i noticed that tearing and crust were 2 of the many forms of pinkeye.
so PLEASE
what does this sound like to you????

i keep looking on all of these pink eye websites and they have like..10 symptoms but i only have like..2 of them.
to get pinkeye do i need to have a lot of the symptoms or just a few???

I think you should ask mom to take you in for an exam. Whatever it is, and please don't let us on line experts guess for you, it needs to be looked at by a professional and treated. You do not want to mess with your vision. Tell you mother that you are concern and would like to be seen by a doctor.

Definitely sounds like pink eye. You will need a prescription from your Dr. Please be careful about touching your eye. It is very contagious.

It does sound like pinkeye but it could be an allergy. I am allergic to rat hair and if I get any near my eye it will run and crust up for days so I use visen allergy formula eye drops.

Actually Pinkeye is an infection, and it sounds like it is pink eye to me, but if it isn't gone in a week you might would want to have it looked at.

I had the exact same thing happen to me. I thought it was just my contacts so I took them out and my eye still kept running. I asked my mom about it and she said it was pink eye even though my eye wasn't pink and swollen. She handed me these gel-like drops called "Sulfacetamide" made by "Falcon Pharmaceuticals". I put it in my eye and it burned a bit but cleared up after a day or two. Pink eye is very contagious. I had to throw my contacts away and wear my glasses for a couple days, also I was instructed to wash my hands immediately if I touched my eyes. I would suggest speaking with your doctor... sounds like pink eye to me.

it sounds like conjunjtivitis.see a doctor.i use this jelly stuff,it comes in a prescription.you put it right on your eye.its some kind of antibiotic.your doctor will know what it is
