Default I have Giant Papillary Conjunctivitis.. I need help.?

I have GPC & I went to the doc who asked me to use drops (Patanol, FML allergan & Tears Naturale) She asked me not to wear contact lenses for my 10 day FML allergan period. I have to continue using Patanol & Tears Naturale for about 3 months. She said I could wear my contact lenses in limited amounts. I forgot however to ask her if I can use eye-make up during this period?
Also, according to you guys, would it be better if I just didn't wear contacts at all? Would it probably cure GPC?

Thanks x

GPC and contact lenses are like peanut but and jelly in a sandwich. They go together. You stand a better chance of improving of you do not use your contact lenses, and of course you should be compliant with your ophthalmologist's prescription and instructions.

If you know FOR SURE that you did not previously have reactions to your make, up, I guess it would be ok to use them, but of it would still be best not to, but for some women, make-up is an occupational hazard.

Don't wear make up if you don't have to.

The fastest way for GPC to resolve is to discontinue contact lens wear. Medications will help to reduce them as well. Once the GPC has reached a manageable level, the best option for returning to contact lenses is a daily disposable as you get a fresh, clean lens every day with less chance for the build-up of allergens. Unfortunately, these are not available in every prescription. It does take several months for GPC to resolve and some people are never able to wear lenses successfully again. Fortunately, with the advent of disposable lenses, these cases are fewer and farther between (assuming your prescription does not require a specialty lens and that you are not already wearing disposables).
