Default INTACS with giant papillary conjunctivitis?

I have giant papillary conjunctivitis secondary to contact lens wear. It'd probably be more appropriate to say "had," because the bumps have resolved with steriod treatments, patanol, and...not wearing contacts for two years.
I'm wondering if INTACS would be a possibility for me, given that the allergic reaction that causes GPC is a response to protein build-up that accumulates on foriegn bodies--contact lenses in my case. Would this be a problem with INTACS?

I don't have answer to your question but would love to hear about your recovery from the GPC - my daughter is going through this now. Also what are INTACS?
