Default What is the better treatment for advanced wet Macular Degeneration?

Lucentis when needed or every month? With the loss of sight in one eye and the other going too, is it better to have the shot monthly or only as needed? Our physician says it doesn't do any good if it isn't bleeding, yet others in his group give it monthly?
