I don't know if I inherited it or its because of the homework I'm issued nearly everyday.I also want to know if the television also causes it to get worse when I watch it form a safe distance,

This actually has some interesting facts about myopia. I don't think it is a heredity trait but if it is in the family, it does tend to show up in offspring at some point.

It usually skips a generation. TV or homework has nothing to do with it.

Myopia is so common. I was wearing glasses for near-sightedness since I was 4. So many people wear glasses, contacts, or have Lasik surgery.
