is it myopia or astigmatism?

my name is Ruchira and i am using specs since last 2 years and i can see nearby objects very clearly but cant see far away objects clearly.according to me i am suffering from myopia but the doctor is telling that i have astigmatism.can anyone tell me whether it is astigmatism or myopia..........??
