Light Sensitivity, and Could I be Iron Deficient?
Starting suddenly a couple months ago, I have suffered extreme eye sensitivity, so much so that this morning just after dawn, in the middle of a fog, I couldn't look at the rising sun.
When I go out in the light without sunglasses, it doesn't just feel like the light is too bright. Before the problem had started I had looked into the sun, and had flashlights shined in my face, and it made them water, made me blink, and made my eyes burn. Now I get a sharp stabbing pain from my eyes into the back of my head, and I actually feel disoriented, and it's hard to figure out exactly where I am or where I'm going.
I have no suffered any skin sensitivity at all though.
In conjunction, my night vision has improved drastically. Last night was a new moon, and I could see well enough to work, under the trees.
I do not have the anemia symptoms of weakness, exhaustion, or light-headedness. Nor do I crave iron rich foods, or chew on ice cubes.
