i just had a pink eye caused by bacterial infections. and the next day after it was almost gone. i saw does pinguecula formation. so does pinguecula go away of its own? and how long does stay in your eyes until it starts to go away?

My sister was just diagnosed with this and she was told that they would most likely not go away but there really isn't much risk to her eyesight. Mostly she is just aware of something being on her eye, but she is not in any discomfort. I'm not a doctor, just reporting what sister yumyum was told by her doc.
