I think I have ptosis. But my eye doesn't entirely fit the characteristics of...
...having it. Only somewhat.? I have a slight sagging on my left eye. I had it from birth, and it wasn't really noticeable. I measured my eyes, and the 'opening' of my eyes were the same size and the same shape (I took a picture of myself and measured it on my computer). The thing is, my right eye has that 'fold' line thing on my upper eyelid, like normal people do. However, my left eye, doesn't; but it still opens as wide as my other 'normal' eye. I've read countless entires and websites that explains the symtoms and blah blah. The only symptom I have of ptosis, is the physical appearance of it (kind of sagging, no line on the upper eyelid). Ironically, I have perfect vision with that eye (20/20) and horrible vision on my other eye (the normal one). On my last checkup, my doctor told me I had monocular vision or something, meaning I'm nearsighted on one eye and farsighted on the other. I can actually make it have a line to match if I raise my eyebrows a bit, but when I look down it goes back to what it was before.
