Default My daughter was just diagnosed with strabismus (exotropia) of BOTH eyes.

Anyone with this? Treatment? I know typically they patch the 'bad' eye but I don't think that would work in this case. Do glasses always correct the problem? She's only 8 months old! I'm asking questions because she still hasn't been to the specialist for treatment. Just want information on what others may have been through.

My little brother and sister were both born with strabismus. They both had 2 surgeries before they were 3. And wore glasses all through growing up. But now (they are 18 and 22) they don't have to wear glasses and their eyes are fine. It is hard when they are babies, but if handled right it could be a lot better when they grow up.
