Why do people get styes in our eyes?

I had a stye in my eye a couple of months ago in the corner. It is very sore and when I blink it hurts very much. Now, I have one again and just was wondering if anyone out there has an answer on how and why we can get them and maybe why so often. Please I do need answers....

enter stye in search section for info
