I've had 3 in the past 2 months, all in the same eye. I've already seen a doctor, and he prescribed an antibiotic ointment, but I'd really like to avoid them all together, because I can't wear my contacts when I have the stye. The doctor says they aren't related to my contacts. Any suggestons on how to avoid getting more styes?

My sister gets styes in her eyes only when she is very stressed about something. I thought she was just tripping but over the years this is the only time she gets them. Maybe you are a little too stressed out about something. Think about it, ... am I right??? if so that may just be the problem and if so I have liittle verse for you... not trying to convert you or anything but the bible says..."
