I have had glasses when i was a teenager for reading which i lost a few years ago and only just got back around to going to the optometrist.
I just moved to a new town so i had to get a new optometrist and the optometrist told me that my eyes are good but my eyesight is poor and therefore i didnt need glasses i needed to see a surgeon.

I am a new uni student and am finding it hard because of my eyesight but this optometrist says i dont need glasses.

does it sound right or not cause it doesnt to me.

Hmm, sounds funny to me.

I'd find another doctor immediatly especialy if you are having trouble seeing.
