I've been reading the Q & As about lasik here at Yahoo, and I also found a very informative article about the new Zyoptix process on EzineArticles and http://www.lasikeyesurgery-facts.com/ website.
I have astygmatism in my left eye only, and I wonder if the new process would be more beneficial.
I do worry that the procedure may still be relatively unproven.
Any experiences?

I was plagued with astigmatism. I recently went to the new Lasik-1 site in Kansas City. I only heard great things from my friends in Chicago about it. I was apprehensive yet determined to get the surgery. They gladly gave me a free consultation so I could really see if the procedure was possible. Everything turned out ok. I think everything will be fine.
