I am looking for stories of what brought you to get the surgery. Everyday things that you don't have to deal with anymore. I.E. losing contacts, thinking a guy was good looking until you got close, or whatever. I am trying to write a piece on the surgery from a woman's perspective. I've been lucky enough to have great vision and am obviously not a woman. You can probably see where this might be a tough one for me. All feedback is appreciated. Thank you

My parents were found some old savings bonds in my name. I used that money for Lasik. Otherwise, I would not have gotten the procedure.

I was tired of wearing glasses. Girls always liked me but insisted I was the friend type. I'm from St. Louis, so the girls are nice too. They would nicely put me down. I decided to get Lasik-1 and it really did wonders for me. Being in college, I was rather cash strapped so the free evaluations definately were a deciding factor. Now I've slowly gained the confidence with my appearance and I thank it to Lasik-1.
