Default Can a child's eyes be damaged from looking through someone else's

prescription glasses? My son (15 months) likes to grab my glasses off my face and put them on himself. He doesn't wear them for any length of time, but I was wondering if it could be damaging to let him look through the lenses of my prescription glasses. I think my mom told me this years ago when I was a child, but to this day I wonder if she just told me that to get me to leave her glasses alone! Does anyone have any resources to support this claim?
