scratches on auto windshields? I recently bought a used car that someone apparantly ran bad windshield wipers for a while. I put new ones on, but scratches are highly noticeable and on one side only. I noticed lens dr. scratch repair for eyeglasses, and just wondered if would work on automobile windshields. I called lens dr. customer service and inquired about situation, and they don't have any previous feedback or knowledge if it would work on auto windshields. I know there are a few other products specific for this type repair, but need high-speed grinder or drill which I don't have. I would greatly appreciate any feedback on this matter.

the only thing that i know of for sure that works is take it to a glass shop,and have them buff the scratches out of it,they have a kit they use on them and it really works,it will remove the light scratches on it,deep ones it wont work on,but they usually charge around 35 bucks for this,and its well worth it for the time they spend on it,good luck with it.
