Default I have a problem wearing eyeglasses. Can you help me with suggestions?

I have a anatomical lump in my skull bone behind my left hear and it has been there since my scull formed. When I put glasses on, the ear piece fits directly over this bump and it leaves so much pressure, I have to take the glasses off. It about drives me crazy.
What do you think I should do? I need glasses to be able to see since I am now in my 40's. I push the glasses up about 1/2 inch to get over the bump and I think it makes me look like I am trying to be silly. Have you ever heard of anyone doing this before?
