Should the Eyeglasses place pay for my glasses (long explanation)?
Here is the deal. I have been wearing glasses/contact lenses for really long time. A little less than a year ago I got an exam from a very well known place but could not afford to buy glasses there. So, I asked them for my prescription and ordered some glasses on a website I discovered for way WAY cheaper. But when the girl gave my prescription I thought it looked funny, I remembered it being stronger, but I didn't saything because I thought it was possible my sight had improved. When I got the glasses in the mail they felt funny too. But knowing that it takes time to adjust, I didn't think anything of it. I have had a hard time seeing at night and my "good eye" turned into the "bad eye." I called the place to get another copy since I felt uneasy about ordering another pair, I knew it wasn't right. Turns out the first copy said my right eye was -5.00 when it was actually -6.00. Should they pay 4 another exam and my glasses I have been wearing all this time? What if it's wrong again?
The place that gave me my prescription was not a cheap place, That's why I couldn't buy my glasses there.... I'm not complaining about the glasses.
Hey lunamiss, no need to get offended, are you sure YOU didn't write me my wrong perscription. A simple no would have been sufficient, don't rag on me like I'm some kinda moron. You may or not read this again, oh well...There are plenty of other people like myself who purchase numerous Items online, this doesn't mean the office has the right to give the patient WRONG information and get away with it.....call me naive if you wish, but I trusted the office to have given me the RIGHT information the first time.
